Barshi is a major junction for trade between the districts of Osmanabad, Latur and Solapur. It has been a commercial center from the British Rule. This town is well connected with Railway and National High way. We had taken a house on rent in 2003, and did pastoral service to the Catholics there. In 2007 we purchased 10 acres of land for a school. A CBSE syllabus school was started in a rented building in June 2007. In the same year, Franciscan Sisters of Dillingen started working in the school. The school building was constructed in the year 2008 and the school was shifted to the new building in June 2008. The Deena Bandhu Samaj Sisters also started a convent in Barshi in June 2008. SH sisters started working in the school and constructed their convent, which was blessed on 03 June 2012. There is a vibrant parish attached to this centre.
