History
Through the initiative of Fr. Joseph Pandiappallil, Emmaus Province made a contract with the Archdiocese of Munich in 2001 and started a community in Munich where three of our priests can live together as a community and one of them can be the administrator of the parish St. Quirin. This beautiful parish-house in the city of Munich offers possibility for our priests to stay there and learn German language and for visitors to spend a short period. From 2001 to 2009, seven of our priests have made use of this possibility to spend their first year in Germany in this house and to learn the language, culture and style of parish work and all these members of our congregation were appointed in parishes in the archdiocese of Munich and in the diocese of Speyer.
